I just got back from seeing Harry Potter, finally! I was so sad I couldn't see Bethy the night of the premiere. I was sad I didn't go at all. I gave Andrea my ticket cuz I felt crappy.

Omg, I could not stop laughing through the High!Harry scene. "Siir!" hahahah.

Ok, Dobby is grabbing my face to pull me in so he can kiss me. It would be cute, but he uses his claws. Umm, ow?! Stupid cat.

Anyway, this was a good movie, but it still sickened me. I will always be a die hard Harry/Hermione fan. I mean, come on! How cute was Harry comforting Hermione and then the two of them at the end.. SERIOUSLY JKR! IT WROTE ITSELF! FOOL!

I'm driving to Houston, MS (just a teensy bit smaller than the one in Texas) to stay with my grandparents for the night, and then off to Jackson tomorrow evening to prepare for Harry Potter Friday with Amanda, Scott, Lauren L. (soon to be R.) and Josh.

This little return excursion is lovely, save one thing:

The Natchez Trace.

It's the "quickest" way to north Mississippi, except that speed is not a staple of The Trace. National Park, pretty (boring) scenery, historical landmarks -- that's all well and good, minus the fact that no one in the known universe wants a 40 MPH speed limit. 40! That's what it is in Tennessee right now. I know it's at least 50 (crazy speed!!) in Mississippi. Ugh. And let's not forget the sketchy cell service. Awe-some.

The only thing cool about this road is the old murder, mayhem and witch stories from back in the day.

What? It's true.

I've had several of you ask me to post pictures of the apartment. I'm not ready for that yet, so you'll have to hold on a little longer (like, until next week), but to tide you over, here's a picture Josh sent me Saturday afternoon letting me know he was "Done" getting all the boxes and etc. into the the new place.

Trust me when I tell you how UN-FUN it is walking around the side of our building and up the three flights of stairs to our apartment when you have boxes and other paraphernalia loading you down.
